About Ari

Soon after beginning a career in tech, I became passionate about Yoga and began teaching classes on the side. This introduced me to the world of embodiment and what it means to share a practice with others. That experience, along with years of meditation , sparked a deep interest in how we live in our bodies and relate to ourselves from the inside out.

What began as a personal journey turned into a professional calling. I discovered that what moved me most was supporting people one-on-one through their own processes of self-discovery and change. This led me to complete a master’s in somatic psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), and later pursue more in-depth training through CIIS’s doctorate program in clinical psychology.

I’ve also completed extensive post-graduate training in the Hakomi Method and bring a trauma-informed, relational approach to my work. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, single-incident and complex trauma, addiction, and many of the existential and emotional dilemmas that come with being human.

At the heart of my work is a deep respect for the vulnerability and courage it takes to enter therapy. It’s an honor to do this work, to sit with clients in moments of struggle, reflection, and growth. I believe in the power of therapy to help people come into fuller relationship with themselves and the lives they want to live.
